- The two graphs are the same except for small differences caused by the use of numerical methods in the calculation of the integral and derivative.
- To be as similar as possible (using plotXpose app) then the integration should use Simpson's rule (as this is the more accurate method) and the differentiation should use the central difference method and the sampling interval should should be the smallest value as allowed by the app
Differentiation is the inverse operation to integration. The formal statement of this result is the first Fundamental Theorem of Calculus.
